CHIPPENSTEEL 0.5 CHAIR – HEAT FLAMED GOLD

The unique shape and ‘playful aspect of this chair, designed by Oskar Zieta, are the result of a sophisticated and innovative technology developed at ETH Zurich, the famous Swiss polytechnic. FIDH is a technology that enables to weld together a double layer of steel sheets and inflate like a balloon with a powerful jet of air to give a 3D dimension. Chippensteel was exhibited at the Moss Gallery in New York, Karena Schuessler gallery in Berlin, the gallery Skalar Hudson in New York and the Tools Galerie in Paris.
